The main genres of genre fiction are (of course) Fantasy, Science Fiction, horror, Crime and perhaps to a lesser extent, Westerns and Historical fiction.
While the genres today by some opinion, explored to to death, by blending them together we further genres and composition we find ways to detial new fiction.
While genre fiction is harder to be commercial, they have establsihed markets and audiences.
But where did this idea of genre fiction, genre originate from?
